Assignment #1
Participation & Class Activities
There will be class activities of different forms given during the class time, we will work either individually or in groups. Solutions are expected to be submitted by end of the class. You are expected to be an active participant during these activities. More details on this will be shared on Blackboard. Some journals and/or class discussion boards will be counted towards class activities grade as well.
Assignment #2
Programming Projects
Four Programming Projects will be performed outside the classroom focusing on the main topics of the chapters. You will be expected to analyze the problems in the projects and then understand the computing requirements including the code and the syntax. In addition to coding, you may be asked to present some of the solutions. More details on this will be shared on Blackboard.
Assignment #3
Exams
Three exams will be given throughout the semester. The exams are closed book. Calculators & Notes are allowed, however smart phone calculators are prohibited. Please refer to the course schedule for topics to be covered in each exam.
Assignment #4
Final Presentation Project
The final presentation project consist of both: writing a python program and an ASL presentation video. More details on the project will be shared on Blackboard.
